The error was:<\/p>\n<pre>\r\nssh: connect to host github.com port 22: Connection refused\r\nfatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>Of course the word &#8220;fatal&#8221; would freak out any non linux user. So a with a little searching the following is the solution.<\/p>\n<p>Add the following to your .\/.ssh\/config:<\/p>\n<pre>\r\nhost github.com\r\n    hostname ssh.github.com\r\n    port 443\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>This forces ssh over https for github. All fixed!
